Kickoff into a new era
We are expanding the museum and are creating four entirely new sections: Human – Earth – Cosmos – Future. Our exposition area will almost be doubled: from its current size of 6,000 to approximately 10,000 square meters.
The remodeling will take place in a modular fashion, so that large parts of the museum can be kept open for visitors even during the construction phase.
The four new exposition sections will take visitors on excursions to the beginnings of humanity, the most exciting places on the globe and through the endless expanse of the universe, and they address questions about the future development of our planet.
