Free Space and Break Room

The new Free Space at the Senckenberg Naturmuseum Frankfurt is a pop-up exhibition space where experimental projects find their place. In addition, the Free Space invites visitors to linger and discuss. A variety of books also offers opportunities for in-depth study. The Free Space was made possible through the support of Volker Westerborg and is located on the 2nd floor next to our coral reef exhibition.

Please note that eating and drinking are not allowed in the museum, including the Free space.

However, our break room, on the 1st floor, is a designated reception area.

In the break room you are invited to relax and eat the food and drink you have brought with you. It is located on the 1st floor behind the new special exhibition room (in extension of the mammal room). Alternatively, you are welcome to visit the bistro on the 2nd floor.
