For the fourth year in a row, the Senckenberg Natural History Museum in Frankfurt is hosting its Ocean Action Days—centered around World Oceans Day on June 8.
The importance of our oceans and the protection of the seas are the focus of the 2026 Action Days. A wide-ranging and colorful program featuring event series such as Science Live and exciting guided tours invites visitors to discover the museum in a whole new way. Whether through public themed tours, interactive stations, or an action day in the Aha?! Science Lab: the fascination of the oceans can be experienced here in a variety of ways.
In this way, we aim not only to draw attention to the wonderful and impressive animals and habitats of our oceans, but also to raise awareness of the challenges our blue planet faces today.
