Nature Culture Architecture

For transcultural exchange

Frankfurt is proud to be a multicultural city. Many nations live here. This diversity is one of our strengths and its absence would be unthinkable for our society.

Museums, too, house a wide variety of objects from all corners of the world. As social gathering places, they also have great potential to promote social and cultural participation and strengthen the community. That is why we want to open our doors and lower the barriers to entry. The Senckenberg Natural History Museum, the Museum of World Cultures, and the German Architecture Museum aim to actively facilitate access to the museums through this non-profit outreach project. Our programs are designed for young people and adults learning German who have had little or no opportunity to engage with cultural offerings so far, regardless of how long they have been in Germany or how well they speak German.

Thanks to the support of the City of Frankfurt’s Cultural Affairs Office, the educational programs and admission are free of charge.

More detailed information about the project and the themes and programs at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum, the Weltkulturen Museum, and the German Architecture Museum can be found in the project flyer (see below).

To schedule specific appointments, please contact the respective coordinators at each venue (see below).

At the Senckenberg Natural History Museum, we offer both guided tours and workshops as part of the “Nature, Culture, Architecture” project. More detailed information about the content and how to register for an event at our museum can be found below under “Events at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum.”

The project is supported by the Cultural Affairs Office of the City of Frankfurt am Main.
